Education: MSPED, Portland State University; B.S. Sociology, Cascade College
Teaching Experience: I began teaching and mentoring through the non-profit world about 13 years ago.  After several adventures and seasons of my life, I was fully licensed in 2011 and was already working in high-level special education with Portland Public Schools.  I received my Master’s in 2012 and began my work with Randall Children’s Hospital building the Hospital School Program in the Psychiatry Department.

Hobbies: Portland Timbers Football Club Supporter (Since ’11)
Music Nerd (wussy rock, weird hip-hop, deep electronica, outlaw country)…louder the better
News Junkie (read the news everyday, watch too many current events documentaries)
Food/Drink Explorer (scouring the city for the finest eats and watching the culture flourish)
Favorite Book: Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolver & The Journey is the Destination by Eldon.
